Pattes à Selle is a home-based dog walking and pet-sitting service for dogs, cats and new pets (rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, etc.).

Working in Saint-Malo and the surrounding area, I adapt to your schedule and requirements.

The walks

Whether it's a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood for dogs who love their routine, or a little expedition to explore new horizons—parks, beaches, trails—each outing is tailor-made, at your furry friend's pace and desires. And for slightly longer walks, hop in! A quick ride in the specially equipped cargo bike—a safe and sheltered journey to kick off the adventure.

Home care

In-home pet sitting allows your pet to remain in their familiar environment, surrounded by their routines and comfort. No stress, no change: just attentive care to ensure their well-being while you're away.

The tours include:

a neighborhood walk to relieve themselves and stretch their legs (dogs)
a full supply of fresh water and kibble
a thorough cleaning of his toilet
a check of his health
cuddles and games (depending on your pet's personality)
a quick security check of his space
taking medication if needed
And for slightly longer visits: an optional brushing to pamper him.

How does it work?

Initial contact : by email or telephone to introduce your pet and your needs.
Personalized quote : validation of the service and the price.
Pre-visit : meeting with you and your pet, handing over the keys, and pet form to complete together.
Service begins : walks or pet sitting according to your wishes, with news and photos sent after each visit.

ABOUT

My name is Carole, and animals have always been central to my life. As a child, I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, spending hours watching and playing with them. As an adult, I became the go-to pet sitter for everyone I know: whether they went on vacation or were away for an extended period, I was always there to look after them. Seeing how happy I was caring for them, I decided to turn my passion into a profession. In September 2025, I took the ACACED (Certificate of Knowledge for Domestic Pets) with specializations in dogs, cats, and exotic pets, and in October 2025, Pattes à Selle was born.

I was inspired to combine this project with my second passion: cycling. So it was only natural that I chose to use a cargo bike for getting around. What could be better than feeling the wind in your ears and breathing in all the scents of the seaside? Eco-friendly and practical, the cargo bike was the obvious choice for this adventure.

Today, I want to offer the animals entrusted to my care much more than just pet sitting: genuine attention, a caring presence, and a deep respect for their nature. For me, caring for an animal means recognizing that it is not just a companion, but a sentient being with whom we share a part of our journey.
